Surely you have heard of other street teams where you have to spend hours in large groups flyering cars or concerts? The First Friday Team is not like that. We started the "Promote Where You Are" street team strategy.
Promote Where You Are Strategy - Simply put, this is where you drop off flyers and hang posters in the normal flow of your daily activities. Essentially we are avoiding the old school version of street teams where you get everyone together and head out to do concentrated promotions. Instead we are trying to fit First Fridays needs into your life not the other way around.
What we need are people to drop flyers (or hang posters) at their schools, favorite coffee shops, record stores, hangouts, and any other place that will allow such nonsense.
Do you Qualify? - If you ever leave your house you are qualified for the Street Team. Here's what you do. Visit the list of locations that we are looking to get flyers and posters to under the street teams sub menu titled “resources.” Make note of some locations that you regularly visit, then come back here and fill out the form below. You will then receive and e-mail where we will go into more detail.
Cost vs. Benefits
The Cost is that you will have to drop off (or pass out) flyers and hang posters in places you normally go already . What you get in return is one of our mighty-fine First Friday Street Team t-shirts and the chance to meet the bands backstage before the show. All that just for passing out some flyers.
